Lunch with Rob Davis
Rob Davis
PROTECTING CITIZENS: PROTECTING CIVIL RIGHTS. IS THERE A CONFLICT?
That is the provocative question San Jose Police Chief Rob Davis will address at February's Lunch with League.
Chief Davis has strong roots in the San Jose community, graduating from south San Jose's Dartmouth Junior High School and Branham High School. He graduated from San Jose State University with a Degree in English, received a Masters of Public Administration Degree from Golden Gate University, and is a graduate of Federal Bureau of Investigation's National Academy. A San Jose Police Officer since 1980, he spent over nine years in the Patrol Division in varying capacities, along with distinguishing himself in a variety of assignments. As a Captain, Chief Davis served in the Bureau of Technical Services, where he was instrumental in implementing the nation's first Voluntary Racial Profiling Study. Chief Davis has also served on the Board of Santa Clara County Big Brothers/Big Sisters and is a graduate of the Community Leadership San Jose/Silicon Valley Program.
