Santa Clara County District Attorney Dolores Carr

On November 7, 2006, Dolores Carr was elected as the first woman to serve as District Attorney in Santa Clara County's history. Over the past twenty-five years, she has worked in private practice, was a Deputy District Attorney for 15 years, and was a Superior Court Judge from 2000 to 2006. She served as the Supervising Judge of the Family Division, and most recently was the Supervising Judge of the Unified Family Court.
